Key Stage 1 at Meriden Beach

11 July 2013

On Thursday the 11th of July all classes from Key Stage 1 came in in their beach wear, with buckets and spades in hand, ready for a day at Meriden Beach.

All children enjoyed the variety of activities on offer including riding on a land train, sailing in the pirate ship as well as taking part in Victorian Seaside activities and fun fair rides. Tea cups, trampolines and bouncy castles were great fun. However nothing could beat a paddle in the cool water and building sandcastles with friends!

Thanks to everyone who helped out, especially the parents who came along and the children who behaved wonderfully.

A great time was had by all and comments from the children included: "This is the best day of my life ever!"
