Year 2 children took part in a Clay workshop with a very talented Speight of the Art artist.
First the children watched a video about the Birmingham Royal Ballet and then they designed their own Clay masks to represent 'feelings' as portrayed in the Video. All the children came up with their own ideas and produced two masks each, one sad and one happy.
Phoebe said: "I really enjoyed the workshop and we even got to paint the masks and take them home to keep. The artists who come into school are brilliant!"
Mrs Shakespeare said: "The masks will also be displayed at an exhibition later in the year and we are very proud of the children's hard work. We hope to work with Speight of the Art again next year and look forward to many more exciting workshops to come".
