In Science, Year 5 have been finding out how to keep their bodies healthy. As part of this topic, a fishmonger from Morrisons supermarket (who is also a parent) visited, to encourage us to eat more fish.
Sam told us all about the importance of eating oily fish because it has Omega 3 in it which helps to keep our brain working properly.
Much to the dislike of some children, he showed us how to take the bones out of fish before we had the opportunity to taste salmon and whiting, which was really tasty.
