The children in Year 5 were busy growing vegetables as part of their Allotment Project. They grew cabbages, onions, beans and peas.
A group of helpers were organised every day to make sure the garden was kept watered and tidied. They did a super job and even in the hottest weather the garden survived thanks to their hard work.
Some children in Key Stage 1 grew a 'secret scented garden' of beautiful flowers and herbs and their final display was very stunning.
Our thanks go to Mrs Shakespeare who supervised both of these projects and to all the children involved.
