21 and 22 March 2016
The week before we broke for our Easter Holidays was very busy. It started on Monday 21st March with our Easter Egg Hunt. For the Reception classes it started in the morning where they had follow the bunny paw prints and work in teams to find all red or blue balloons hidden in their playground. When they were all returned to the basket they were exchanged for chocolate eggs.
After break it the children in Key Stage 1 had to find eggs in their team colours or number. This was not so easy as some were very well hidden.
Key stage 2 waited eagerly for their turn, again they also had to work in teams but this time they had to crack the code to find the clues that would lead them to their eggs.
"This is the best day ever, I love codes" a Year 3 child told us.
On Tuesday 22nd March Reception and key stage 1 had a beautiful colourful Easter bonnet parade. A lot of hard and creative work went into making all the different bonnets from Easter eggs to angry birds, Easter gardens to spring chicks. Some even had lights on them.
It was great to see so many of our parents come to support and encourage the children. Dawn from Morrison's came to judge and pick the winners and this was not an easy task
We would like to thank members of our PTA for helping to organise and supporting these events.
