Football Fantasia

30 June 2014

On Monday 30th June 2014 the children were all very excited coming to school in their football kits or team colours for our Football Fantasia day.

Each class had previously be given a world cup team and decorated their classrooms with the appropriate colours and flags.

Leading up to this day we held Mini World Cup. Each team had six players, one from each year group and at least one girl in the team. The final was held at lunch time and the winning team all got their own world cup and the runners up were given medals.

During the day we had lots of fun doing all the football themed activities, including design your own kit, how many words can you make out of 'world cup'; trivia Challenge; school football story each class witting a page of it.

We also had penalty shoot outs, football tombola, lucky dip, face painting and the poor Ref got a good soaking!

We all had an enjoyable time sharing our football skills with others. Thank you to the PTA and all who helped make this such a fun day.
