National Sing Up Day

2 March 2012

On Friday 2nd March St Thomas More School celebrated National Sing Up Day. Sing Up has become an integral part of our school life. Singing takes place across school both in and outside of the classroom.

The children were asked to choose a song to perform during our celebration meeting. They enjoyed arranging and choreographing their routine and the songs were enjoyed by all. A special appearance by Rose (our school cook) went down a storm and even the teachers performed 'Ain't No mountain high enough,' dance moves and all.

Throughout the day our school was alive with singing, during lunchtime children and dinner ladies exchanged favourite songs and playground games. We are already looking forward to next year's celebration.
