Margaret Morley, a retired volunteer with the RSPB, came into school to visit Reception and Year 2. Margaret has a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for wildlife which is infectious.
The children sat quietly in the school grounds and listened for the birds – we heard over six different species and our wonderful garden Robin made an appearance! The children also made some wild bird food to hang in the school grounds.
We always look forward to seeing Margaret every year and the children can now enjoy the joy of nature even more.
