Stations of the Cross

18 March 2013

As part of their work to celebrate the Year of Faith, pupils in Year 5, invited their family and peers to pray the Stations of the Cross with them.

Pupils worked collaboratively in small groups to research, plan and reflect on their station before creating their own artwork to represent their station. They then invited family, friends and parishioners to pray the stations with them.

It was a prayerful and reverent occasion which enabled pupils to develop their understanding and knowledge of the Stations as well as encouraging them to deepen their faith.

Parents commented that pupils were respectful and that the readings, prayers drama and music were performed brilliantly.
