Summer Fayre

9 June 2007

Wow! What a fun-filled, action-packed day we had on Saturday 9th June.

This was our first Summer Fayre and it was a brilliant success. All areas of the school community came together to ensure the success of our day. The school's Parent Teacher Association led the way, organising and managing all the stalls and events. Staff, pupils, parents and governors were all involved in running or buying from stalls.

Highlights of the day were:

  • The Auction - which raised over £500.
  • The bouncy castle - boing, boing!
  • The 'Stocks' - thank you to the very wet dad!
  • The Ice-Cream Bike - our Deputy Head is now known as 'Gino!'
  • The children's singing and Irish dancing
  • The sunshine!

We managed to raise over £2,000 for our Interactive Whiteboard Appeal - Well done everyone!
