15 April 2016
Do not be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, he has been raised from the dead just as he said." Matthew 28:3.
On Friday 15th April all of the Year 2 children participated in an RE Inspire Workshop during this special Easter Season. The children worked with a family member to make a traditional Easter Garden.
We began our workshop with a PowerPoint which was led by the children. They explained features that would be included in an Easter Garden. It was important for the children to include three crosses and an empty tomb with an entrance and signs of new life to represent the most important event in the church. They then created their gardens using a variety of materials.
All of the children really enjoyed creating an Easter Garden with an adult.
"A lovely time spent with my son".
"A really good workshop. I enjoyed making the Easter Garden with my daughter."
"A fantastic workshop and I enjoyed being part of a large group to see how well the children interact."
