"Do not be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, he has been raised from the dead just as he said."
The parents and children of Year 2 gathered together to celebrate Easter by making Easter Gardens.
It was lovely to see such great support from the parents for this event and the effort all involved went to, to produce a variety of carefully landscaped gardens, some of which are on display in the school entrance.
Each garden had three crosses to remind us of Jesus' death and a tomb with the stone rolled away to remind us of the resurrection. Flowers, eggs and chicks tell us of the new life Jesus brings to us at this special time of Easter.
Many thanks to all who took part in our exciting Easter tradition and thanks for your positive comments.
