16 November 2017
On Thursday 16th November Year 3 and Paddington had a wonderful adventure at Cadbury World. Immediately on arrival we were taken right back in time and transported across continents to meet the Mayans in the rainforest followed by the ancient Aztecs trading with the conquistadors.
Around each corner, lay more adventure. We then found ourselves in Victorian Birmingham as the Cadbury brothers developed the Dairy Milk and created a model for workers rights and living conditions. Using a multisensory presentation we both learned and felt the process of making chocolate.
Along the corridor we travelled to watch a demonstration of chocolate moulding, whilst eating our own personal chocolate marshmallow, crunchy creation.
After our demonstration we got on board the Cadabra fantasy ride into Cocoa Bean World, we travelled through forests, past ski slopes and ended in outer space.
After lunch we topped of our visit in the 4D cinema with a thrilling roller coaster trip with Gorilla, Fredo and Cadbury Bunny along the crunchy express and up in a balloon.
Our day ended with a quick spot of retail therapy and we returned home a lot happier and a little fatter.
