CLEANER VACANCY 

Grade 1, point 1-3

10 hours per week, term time only (FTE £17,364).

 

We are seeking to appoint two school cleaners. Candidates must;

 

• Have the ability to work within a team but also under direction from our Site Manager.

• Have high standards.

• Be hardworking and committed to providing an excellent cleaning service.

• Previous experience is preferred but not essential.

Candidates will need to be able to operate our cleaning equipment and understand the importance of following Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with parents/students and members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

In return we can offer a caring school atmosphere with supportive colleagues.

• Experience of working across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2, working with small groups and providing cover for class teachers.

• A Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification.

• The ability to inspire, challenge and motivate all children to achieve, through your own best practice, in a happy and effective learning environment.

• Good interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as part of a team to improve standards of teaching and learning.

• The ability to be a positive role model.

• A commitment to contributing to the Catholic life of the school.

• The capacity to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the children.

 

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
