COVID19 Information/Key Policies

School policies cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of our most important policies for your reference. This includes the policies of the Lumen Christi Multi Academy.

The latest information about school re-opening was issued in July about the changes we have implemented to ensure a safe return for all. Please see under 'letters' if you need to re-read the information.

Please follow the link to find a video message from our headteacher, Mrs Madia, demonstrating and explaining the steps we as a school are taking in order to ensure returning pupils are kept as safe as possible whilst in our care.

What will my child need when returning to school?


1) A book bag (Reception)

2) A lunch box (unless they normally receive a school lunch)

3) A water bottle (water only please)

4) A healthy morning snack (fruit or vegetables)

5) A coat (weather dependent)


Children do not need a  pencil case or PE bag for the time being.


All the necessary equipment is being provided to support your children's learning and to keep their learning environment as safe as possible.

PE lessons

Reception will have 1 session and Years 1 - 6 will have 2 lessons a week using the timetable below.

Both classes will do a PE lesson on the same day day.


Children must come to school in the PE clothing for the whole day - no changing clothes is required.

What will children need?

1) A red school PE t shirt.

2) Black shorts, tracksuit bottoms or leggings.

3) Trainers (as most PE will be held outside for the time being) 

4) A hoodie (dependent on the day's weather)

Testing now available to anyone with symptoms of coronavirus


The government has announced that anyone with symptoms of coronavirus is now eligible to book a test, ahead of the rollout of the test and trace service. Anyone experiencing a new, continuous cough; high temperature; or a loss of, or change, in their normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia) can book a test.
