History & Geography homework Project

We would like you to create your own project about an area of History or Geography based upon forthcoming topics in your year group (or previous units in Year 1/ Year 2 if you do not start new topics until Summer 2).  You may start right away and bring in your work when we return after Easter.

We would love you to express yourselves and create something that demonstrates your learning, but here are some suggestions:

  • A PowerPoint presentation
  • A model
  • A poster
  • A pamphlet
  • An essay
  • Artwork

Year 2M have a new member of the class.

Brian the bear, who was named by the class, is Year 2M new class mascot. He will spend time in school and be taken home by a child.

Each week a child from 2M will take Brian home along with his special blanket and a reading book of their choice, to have fun and share their life with him. The children are expected to write a journal entry from themselves and from Brian’s point of view as well as include a picture or two to show what they have done together.

Year 2 Mass

Whilst celebrating the season of Christmas, Year 2 led the first school Mass of 2019. We heard readings about the Epiphany and Jesus’ baptism. All the Year 2 children were reverent and read really clearly and confidently passing on the Good news to the whole congregation including lots of family.
